Wilson Hartnell provided full PR services and support to The Digital Hub from October 2014 to January 2020. Based in the historic Liberties area of Dublin city centre, The Digital Hub is an enterprise cluster for growing technology companies. Home to almost 70 established businesses and employing over 700 people, The Digital Hub is the largest cluster of digital media, technology and Internet businesses in Ireland.
The Digital Hub is home to a diverse range of companies and organisations, with Irish start-ups working alongside American multinationals and FDI companies looking to establish a base here. Current international and Irish companies at The Digital Hub include Bizimply, Good Travel Software, Sonru and Eventbrite along with industry organisations such as NDRC and Tyndall National Institute. The Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival is also based at The Digital Hub.
WH’s role in working with The Digital Hub involved day to day PR support, which included quarterly press announcements detailing new clients coming to the cluster and important events and developments, as well as press announcements when a major company located there. WH also worked to promote any events and campaigns that The Digital Hub were involved in, including the Future Creators programme and the BenefIT Community Digital Literacy programme.
In addition to providing PR support to The Digital Hub, WH provided support and counsel to clients located in the Hub, mainly in the form of bi-monthly drop in PR clinics and quarterly PR masterclass sessions hosted in The Digital Hub.
WH achieved sustained and regular coverage profiling all of the above activities in the national business media. Coverage was also regularly obtained in regional south Dublin media, an important audience for The Digital Hub as it worked to promote a positive presence in the local Liberties area.
