Saba The Cookbook

The Challenge

Wilson Hartnell was tasked with launching and generating a high level of positive media coverage for “Saba: The Cookbook” from Dublin’s award winning Thai & Vietnamese restaurant.

Our Response

WH developed an intensive media relations campaign to support the launch of the Gourmand Award winning “Saba: The Cookbook”. A double page spread was secured in the Irish Times Magazine to coincide with the launch. A copy of “Saba: The Cookbook” was hand delivered to a select number of food journalists and lifestyle bloggers. WH syndicated out a range of images and bespoke recipes for reproduction.

A national photocall was held featuring executive chef Taweesak Trakoolwattana and 8 year old Ciara Murray , who has successfully been through treatment at the bone marrow transplant unit at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin. Funds from the sales of the book went directly to the children’s hospital. WH also organised a launch event in Saba for media, VIP guests, friends of the restaurant and its charity partners.
