Robert Chambers, widely regarded as Dublin’s most prestigious hair salon, was celebrating 40 years in business and a new look for the iconic salon on Dublin’s Grafton Street. Robert’s daughter, Tamar was announced as the new Artistic Director for the group.
Wilson Hartnell was tasked with publicising the anniversary celebrations, new Artistic Director and showcasing the revamped salon.
Wilson Hartnell devised a strategy to re-launch the salon and celebrate 40 years in business. A photocall was held with models Sarah McGovern and Hilary Goudie, showcasing iconic hair styles from the Robert Chambers archives, alongside Robert and Tamar Chambers.
An event was hosted in the salon with media, influencers, clients and friends of the house in attendance. Hosted by stylist Courtney Smith and Thai and Vietnamese eatery Saba catered the event.
Interviews were set up with both Robert and Tamar with strong online and social media presence on the night and print pieces following the event.
Extensive coverage was generated across print publications, online and via social media with over 710,000 opportunities to see and hear about the Robert Chambers Salon.
