To announce Food: From the Isle – the new summer programme at Kildare Village that will seek to showcase the very best of Irish food culture – to Ireland’s food media and most influential foodies. ‘Food: From the Isle’ will welcome two ‘Lens & Larder, Village Life’ public pop-up dinners on Friday, 24 and Saturday, 25 June – hosted by Lens & Larder collaborators Imen McDonnell and Cliodhna Prendergast – together with a series of curated food pop-ups, talks, curated menus, tastings and workshops throughout the summer.
To host a rustic-meets-refined outdoor long table dinner with Lens & Larder collaborators Imen McDonnell and Cliodhna Prendergast that engaged target guests. Enjoying a specially created menu with paired drinks comprising Irish suppliers – to be imitated at the public pop up dinners – guests were taken through the exciting activity and food trails to take place at Kildare Village this summer by Aoife Carrigy of the Irish Food Writers Guild.
This unique summer food programme forms a key strand of From the Isle, the exciting and ambitious new project at Kildare Village that weaves together diverse threads of Irish talent across food, design, craftsmanship, fashion and culture.
