DoneDeal, Ireland’s largest and most successful online classified adverts website, is celebrating its 10th year of business. With over half a million visitors every day to the website, and an average of 155,000 ads placed on the site across the 208 sections every month, DoneDeal has firmly cemented itself as the leading online market place for new and second hand goods in Ireland.
Figures released by DoneDeal show that a phenomenal nine million ads have been placed on the website over the last 10 years, with an incredible combined value of over €20 billion. The company has experienced significant growth over the last number of years. The number of ads placed on the website increased steadily from 2005 to 2013, but since then the site has experienced exponential growth, with over four million ads placed on DoneDeal from 2014 to today.
Statistics from DoneDeal’s website also highlight that 57% of visits to the DoneDeal website are now made though the popular DoneDeal app and on mobile platforms, which indicates the real significance of mobile as a channel of choice for consumers.

DoneDeal is also celebrating another milestone in that it has reached €1 million in donations to Irish charities with their ‘Charity Month’ initiative for employees. Over the last five years, the DoneDeal ‘Charity Month’ initiative has helped raised funds for charitable causes all over Ireland, and is proud to celebrate that it has now donated funds totalling over €1 million to over 50 Irish charities.
