The Sports Practice at Wilson Hartnell (WH) is looking for an account executive to join Ireland’s biggest dedicated sports business consultancy. We are a team of 9 who are lucky enough to work on some of Ireland’s best-known sports sponsorship and communications programmes. The WH Sports Practice is also privileged to work in advisory capacity with a number of Ireland’s sports rights holders and sports businesses.

We are looking for an individual with at least a year’s experience preferably in an agency or sports business environment who has a strong academic record, excellent interpersonal skills, is a team player and shares our passion for sport. Belief in the power of sport to improve people’s lives is a must as is awareness and curiosity in people and the world around us.

We want candidates who are enthusiastic about understanding our clients’ business, possess the creativity to develop imaginative yet commercially sound solutions and who are willing to forge strong relationships with colleagues and clients alike. Self-motivation, appetite for hard work and desire for success are also a must.

To be considered you will need to demonstrate:

  • A proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time;
  • Social media expertise
  • Flexibility to work weekends as required – that’s when sport happens!
  • Eager to Learn
  • Good judgement
  • Ability to be a team player.

WH believe that diversity in the backgrounds of our people are key strength, and whilst, a primary qualification in business, sports management, marketing or communications would be useful, it is by no means mandatory.

The WH Sports Practice is also privileged to work in advisory capacity with a number of Ireland’s sports rights holders.

We are looking for a graduate with a strong academic record, excellent interpersonal skills who is a team player and shares our passion for sport. Belief in the power of sport to improve people’s lives is a must as is awareness and curiosity in people and the world around us.

We want candidates who are enthusiastic about understanding our clients’ business, possess the creativity to develop imaginative yet commercially sound solutions and who are willing to forge strong relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
